The games are competitive, the tournament is competitive. This is not a camp to decide if you are going to be a basketball referee, this is a camp for referee’s who want to make the jump to the top of your association. Many graduates have gone on to work OSAA State Tournaments.
Campers also receive: T-Shirt, limited energy food & beverages, and invitation to camp social event to network with evaluators, campers and speakers. MAOC is OCEP certified, this means that officials can receive OCEP certification upon full participation. Gear to bring: This is a full dress camp. Professionalism matters.

Feedback from recent MAOC Camper:
I appreciated the evaluators’ willingness to teach and take time with the campers as well as the set up to provide timely feedback on calls and positioning.
Overall, the class sessions were pretty good. I liked the incorporation of video examples and class discussion. It was also great that you brought in a couple of female officials to evaluate and mentor.
I also enjoyed the opportunity to work with and be evaluated by a variety of people.
